Tinker AFB Golf Club offers its guests an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, practice putting and chipping green, pitching green and sand traps, and a driving range. The clubhouse includes a well-stocked Golf Shop, Grill, and a Gentleman’s and Woman’s Lounge (both of which include shower facilities). The complex is managed in a relaxed “country-club” atmosphere with hospitality remaining our first priority.

A limited number of covered golf carts are available daily, November through March, for $8 plus the current cart fee, first come first serve. Don’t let the cool breezes keep you from playing. Check with the Tinker Golf Club for availability or call ahead to reserve.

Ethics Guideline for Running Golf Tournament

Friday Tournament Play
Squadron tournaments are most Fridays, April through October, please be aware that the course will not be available for play during this time. Dates and times can be checked by visiting or calling the Golf Course.

Tournament Booking Requirements
To schedule a first tee tournament (a block of tee times), a minimum of 24 players are required. First tee format tournaments are usually booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. To schedule a shotgun event (all players commencing play at the same time at different hole locations), a minimum of 64 players are required. You will be charged for the minimum of 64 if you reserve a shotgun start, even if you bring fewer players. Shotgun start tournaments begin at 7:30AM or 1PM Shotgun events are not scheduled on two consecutive days. Shotgun events are normally scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If you have reserved 80 or fewer players an additional squadron event of similar size may be paired at the same time to optimize your event. Your group will be kept together when placed on starting holes. There are no tournaments booked during the weekends due to heavy play. However, the Golf Course does play host to various annual tournaments for its authorized players and their guests.

Tournament Requests
Upon making your tentative booking, a Tournament Contract must be submitted to the Golf Club Director. A copy of the contract may be retained for your records. A Tournament Contract must be submitted a minimum of 30 days in advance of an event or the reservation will be dropped. A $100 deposit will be included with the submission of your contract. Talk to golf shop for details.

Payment for Golf Course Services
It is the responsibility of the tournament chairman to collect all fees and charges for his/her tournament in advance. Payment for all golf course services, with the exception of shotgun tournaments, is due the day of the tournament.

Can a civilian, such as myself play your course? I am not military or a federal employee.

The course is in great shape, but too many people don’t know the basics about golf course etiquette. Two of the biggest issues is the fixing of divots on the green and the other is the use of carts. A lot of people are taking their carts way too close to the greens. I have personally seen a few instances where they parked the carts nearly on the fringes!!
The cart problem could be fixed by having a marshal on the course.

I’m a WG-5 and was seeing how much it would be for a 18 hole green fee and cart on weekday. Thanks

I am a Federal Government employee (civilian, not military). Can I gain access to the club by showing my govt ID at the guard gate?

I recently received a 100% disability. What is your rules around guests I can invite to play on the course? Basically, can I bring guests who do not have DOD IID?

Any plans to replace the range balls by next spring? The current range balls are in terrible shape and many are not fit to even be in the ball dispensing machine…
